From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This substantial
doppel pours a ruby tinged clear mahogany color with a very nice head
of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin swirling layer, and displays
some very nice lacing. Nose of breaded malts and deep caramel malts with
subtle herbal notes. Flavors expand on the nose with a breaded malt awash
in caramel malts and mild herbal hops with light wafts of peach and wildflower
honey. Excellent mouth feel; medium body, medium light carbonation, and
a rich malt accentuated finish that is welcoming for this Bock season!
