Unfiltered, opaque straw with specks of sediment, off-white head that dissipated somewhat quickly. Smell is spicy, a bit of yeast and ripe fruit. Taste brings in citrus, banana, clove, and more spice, milder yeast and bread notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a crisp finish. A refreshing, solid representative of the style.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a foamy white head that quickly recedes to nothing.
Aroma of bread dough and orange peel with faint clove.
Taste is very citrus forward. Not much wheat character. Fairly sweet with some clove in the finish.
Medium bodied and smooth with very little carbonation.
Overall I enjoyed drinking this but I don’t think it tastes much like a traditional witbier.

L: Hazy straw yellow and lightly carbonated, lumpy head.

S: Quite spicy. Orange peel, coriander, clove.

T: Banana and bubblegum are the lead flavors. There is a touch of coriander and orange peel that are actually really nice, but they don't have much room to express themselves. The malt blend is quite excellent and usually what Rhinegeist does best.

F: Full bodied wheat. Low carbonation gives it a thick smooth flavor. The carbonation that is present is prickly.

O: Good overall. I would still prefer an import, I can get Hoegaarden less expensively and at more locations.

Very good example of the style ... Light, sweet, citrusy notes ... Easy to drink especially when icy cold on a hot day ... A nice break from the IPAs ... Thumbs up!

This beer pours a beautiful pale gold with a great lacy head, with a proper taste and feel for the style. A very good warm weather beer to enjoy while social distancing this summer.

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Has a somewhat cloudy straw color, along with more than a finger's worth of white fluffy head with good retention and lacing.

Smells like a subdued Belgian wheat beer. Notes of bread, lemongrass, citrus, pineapple, banana, bubblegum, yeast, spices, and maybe some cloves.

The taste is noted for its citrusy and lemony flavors that really come out onto the palette. Tasting tangerines, oranges and lemon rinds, and grapefruit juice from the citrus notes. Cracker and bread mix in with those flavors and act as a backbone. Spices are mild, and I don't really taste much else from that mentioned in the aroma. Body is medium-light.

Canned on 3/27/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a pale yellowish golden with bubbles swirling upwards; fluffy and creamy eggshell white head that sticks around leaving great thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas are on the mild and subtle side. Hints of bread and citrus. Malts are there. Mild yeast aromas. The flavors are refreshing. More citrus notes. Subtle hints of banana and bubblegum. Mild spices. More fresh bread along with some crackers. Subtle sweetness. Solid malt backbone. Yeasts do their thing, but almost take a backseat. Alcohol goes completely unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's crisp, fluffy, slightly creamy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is an alright witbier. It's nothing too crazy or my new personal favorite example of the style, but it's enjoyable and refreshing. It's fitting for the warmer weather.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy pale yellow with no head and no lace. The scent had subtle grain with lemon grass highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with lemonheads zeal. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Pours a hazy straw color with a small white head. Citrus and pineapple notes up front, hint of spice. Lots of carbonation. A very good, refreshing summer beer. Crisp and dry finish helps balance the sweetness that overpowers some other wheat beers. Overall another top beer from Rhinegeist that I will definitely revisit throughout the summer.
