Aged 12 month in bourbon barrels and 2 month in Scotch barrels, this whopper of a Wheatwine Ale emerges with notes of rich toffee, vanilla, oak, and subtle smoke - a delightfully deep quagmire.

500ml bottle in a snifter glass
Pours a dark ruby brown with a thin layer of foam.
Oaky smoke dominates the smell and the taste.
This is for sure a unique drinking experience. I am glad I picked up that one!

This is a unique one. Dark brown wheat ale with a huge Scotched oak aroma. So smoky, it's like a BBQ beer. Great for scotch drinkers, maybe, but was just way too crazy for me.

From the 1 pt 9 oz bottle in a snifter. This nice ale pours
a dark and murky rustic brown with thin tea highlights and a
light head of off white foam that settles to a thin ring. Nose of
smoke, bourbon, scotch, faint vanilla, peat, and oak. Flavors
follow the nose but exceed by presentation with peat and smoke
to the fore, black pepper, bourbon touches, oak, soft wheat notes,
and light vanilla. Nice mouth feel; medium body, lightly coating,
smooth, rich, warming, low carbonation, and a smoky moderately
dry finish.
Overall, a solid little brew of the scotch lovers out there....I am not
a fan of scotch, but I will admit that I enjoy this brew.
Cheers
