I got a 6pck of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit peel spice presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Cloud Harvest 03 brewed by Rhinegeist Brewery, with an ABV of 6.50% This New England IPA pours out of a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. The color of this brew is a nice hazy cloudy amber color with a nice white head. There is also a nice amount lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is Rich with hop bitterness, mixed with earthy grains and malts. There is also a slight sweetness to this brew. Not as sweet as the 02 version of this brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You do pick up some nice citrus notes mixed with sweetness. The hops an earthy grains and malts tie everything all together. This is a well put together New England IPA. I can't get over how smooth this brew goes down. It is really hard to pick up on the 6.50% ABV in this brew, it is just that smooth. The body of Cloud Harvest 03 is a soild medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. This brew would go nice with lunch or dinner. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Clean, Smooth, an Refreshing. Overall I am going to give Cloud Harvest 03 a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity too. Rhinegeist Brewery did a super nice job with this New England IPA.

The can is lovely and reminds one of the island life. The taste is excellent and refreshing with hints of grapefruit and lemon. I enjoy the smell as much as any beer out there. The taste fits the IPA category with a fruity vibe. Cloudy and deep look.

It was Cincinnati chili night here in the northern parts of Ohier, and I wanted to make sure I had some Cinci brews. My son dumped the whole can of Polygraph, from Urban Artifact in his glass, so I will need to acquire another Polygraph for my tasting. I am left with this New Englander from Ohio River country.

It looks, smells, and tastes like most of these, which is great, but it is hard to distinguish much nuance between brews of this style. I would say this one is well made but no better than average.

Recommended. It's not overpriced and it is washing down the Skyline/Goldstar taste test nicely. The other testing results were unanimous, Skyline tastes less like chili, more like Skyline, and that beats Gold Star.

L: Hazy straw yellow. Remarkably lighter and foamier than Rhinegeist's Truth.

S: Piney with mango. These are flavors the hop releases (as opposed to adjunct additives)

T: Very low bitterness (~15 IBU). Lots of oil. Mostly tropical and slightly dank. Very reminiscent of Cloud Harvest v02, in fact, the can has the same barcode. I'm supposing this one is called 03, so as to give themselves room to go up to 99 or so. Which is fine. I find myself preferring seasonal IPA as fresh hops are of critical importance.

F: Heavy body with a juicy, wet finish. Gets more tropical and fruity as your palate adjusts. The malt blend is similar to other Rhinegeist brews with it's prickley yet creamy carbonation--Try swishing it over your tongue, the effect you get is difficult to replicate, and is the sign of an expert brewer.

O: Good brew. It's in my top 10, which is a statement when it comes from me.

Canned on 8/5/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy light yellowish golden; fluffy white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have hints of citrus along with some crackers and fresh bread. Malts are there. The flavors are clean, crisp and refreshing. More citrus. Some lemon and orange. Lots of fresh grass. Mild hints of strawberry in the mix. Soft sweetness. Moderate to low bitterness. Malts do their thing without dominating. Finishes dry and juicy at the same time. It's probably on the drier side. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's on the fuller side of light-bodied or the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid New England IPA. It's very clean, crisp and refreshing. The aromas and flavors might not be anything crazy, but I really appreciate the craftsmanship and cleanliness. I personally like 02 the most out of their "Cloud Harvest" series. Not bad at all. I really do like it.

Today's forecast: a little cloudy. With the aid of Huell Melon, Citra, Mosaic, Mandarina Bavaria and Cascade hops, Rhinegeist sets up the forecast in such that the haze might be hanging around a while.

And with that complex bill of hops, the third installment of Cloud Harvest pours with a light golden hue and a foamy, frothy white crown. As a tantalizing scent of green fruits, wine and tropics flood the nose, its nearly tangy perfume is nearly gin-like. But its taste is gently sweet, softened with cereal grains and creamy with sourdough and wafer.

But as the carbonation and hops break apart the grain sweetness, the middle palate is open range for a full-on fruit display. Under ripened oranges lead the pack followed by lime, passionfruit, honeydew, white grapefruit, white grape and green papaya. All the fruits trend spicy, vinous and with an acute herbal bite akin to lemongrass, verbena, sassafras, fresh spruce and parsley late in taste.

Medium light on the tongue, the brisk carbonation and the peppery hop resins ensure a level of dryness and palatability that's more refreshing than more hazy IPA but still not west-coast aggressive either. Finishing bright and herbal, a medium length aftertaste of gin botanicals and green fruit provide an undercurrent into the next sip.
