A Wheatwine, a Barleywine, and an Imperial Stout walk into a bottle...
This exceptional blend, a malt-driven mélange of three beloved barrel aged behemoths, each complex enough to stand on its own, was carefully concocted to commemorate our third annual Rare Beer Fest. Bogbeast, Jeeves, and Night Whale collide, converge and hold conference with each other in a complex cacophony of toasted oak, delicate vanilla, rich cocoa, dark fruit, orange marmalade, and subtle smokiness. A rare treat indeed.

Appearance: Pours a clear caramel color with a thin beige head that fades away; leggy, with a splattering of dots
Smell: Strong fusel alcohol aromatics with caramel, wheat bread and, to a lesser extent, earthy hop tones
Taste: The Wheatwine makes a statement early, with the fusel alcohol joining the bread and caramel, there are some earthy hop tones, in the middle, but they never really develop; the finish combines the sweet caramel, a bit of bitterness and the burn
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation; considerable warmth in the gullet
Overall: An interesting idea to blend a Wheatwine, a Barleywine and an Imperial Stout; but I wonder if they forgot the Stout part; the Wheatwine dominates here but I think I would have preferred this if the Stout and the Barleywine played a bigger role
Thanks, Manta200, for the opportunity
