Slightly hazy with a slightly white head. Nose is full of citrus, almost citrus zesty to be exact. Taste was a slight disappointment after the nose was so fragrant, although it still has an apricot taste. Finish was very dry and peppery.

Very good citrusy IPA...nice scent and lacing on the glass...all of the Cloud Harvest beers in the series (this is #4) have been very good and this may be my favorite so far :-)

Poured into a tall clear pint glass. Hazy golden appearance with more than a finger's worth of fluffy white head. Good retention and lacing.
Smells like an aromatic perfume or something. Fruity and florescent. Smelling orange and other citrus notes, lavender, freshly cut flowers, pear, straw, and honeydew.
Tasting passion fruit, honeydew, sweet citrus, and very florescent notes. Rose petals and some biscuit malt too. Body is medium light.

I got a 6pck of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with stone and passion fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

L: Straw yellow (too pale) and hazy. Nice foam.
S: Pineapples. Hop underneath and grain underneath that.
T: Some coconut, like a pina coloda IPA. Vaguely bitter. The mellow flavor lets the malt express it's character, where Rhinegeist shines.
F: Juicy and admittedly drinkable. The flavor isn't very intense, and the malts are good, so there you go.
O: Rhinegeist's strength is in their malts. Cheetah is where it's at when it comes to Rhinegeist. There are more flavorful IPA available, yes, but few are as slammable and fun as this one. Flavorful doesn't always equivalate to drinkability, and drinkability is key. There is only so much you can do with a beer before it's too much.

Riding on the waves of hops, Rhinegeist looks to the land down under for their next attempt at clouded judgement. The hops of Sabro, Galaxy and Vic Secret join the always steady Cascade in creating a unique, fresh and fruity variant.
Pale, hazy and straw in its pour, Tamarama Cloud Harvest 04 celebrates the Australian hops with a gentle fruit perfume that rolls off of its stark white foam. Tropical, winey, citrusy and juicy in its scent, the just-shy-of-hazy beer quickly leads into a semi-dry sweetness of pastry dough, honeysuckle and angel food cake.
But the starts of the show are the hops and they unfold on the middle palate with suggestive tastes of pink grapefruit, orange, mango, lemon and grape. Retaining a juicy taste, a branch-ripe character of honeydew and wine create a sangria affect on the tongue. With a quick turn to smooth but spicy bitterness, hints of cedar, sassafras, verbena and botanical grasses make their mark late on the palate.
Medium bodied and semi-dry in its finish, the balance of hops have a spicy resinous balance in finish with a medium length aftertaste of gin spice and fresh spruce. Once again, the tastebuds are flying high on this hop series.
