Bought at my local Kroger Grocery story. Not as thick and chewy as some hazy types. Lighter taste is good as this week it's over 90 degrees and humid every day. Got home from a morning of hiking and it was perfect. Better than average, but not the kind of thing that I would go searching for.

I buy the newest iteration of this beer each summer and it never disappoints. It’s become the old favorite in my rotation. Always refreshing with complex taste just sophisticated enough from the last one to make a tangible difference but close enough to know it blindly. You can’t go wrong.

I got a 6pck of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle stone fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Taking cloudy to the herbal side, Rhinegeist brewers continue they magic cloud ride for the tastebuds with the complex blend of Citra, Strata, Comet, Talus and Cascade hops.

Off of true hazy but still with a juicier character, Cloud Harvest 05 shares a tropical island mindset while pouring a tarnish lemon yellow. With a firm but reasonable haze, the beer's frothy white cap radiates a strong perfume of herb, fruit and fauna that's redolent of citronella, honeysuckle and lavender. A crisp malt upstart in taste scurries across the tongue with light honey, light caramel and a mild overall sense of granola.

As the hoppy cocktail blooms on the middle palate, its perfumy upstart traditions quickly to floral woods, exotic herbs and a botanical flavor that's redolent with fresh tea leaf, verbena, lemongrass, citrus peel and sassafras. Under ripened orange, white grapefruit and a peppery resin taste late is assuring for for classic hop heads although the beer is all about those uniquely sculpted, more herbal hop varieties.

While the moderate malt character lightens steadily throughout the session, the "juicy" IPA finishes crisp, clean and highly refreshing. Like a bold matcha tea but with an overcast of hops, the beer is a departure from the full and fruity trends and shows that herbal and woodsy IPA can be just as exciting.
