Take a trip up the coastline of imagination. This West coast pale ale seeks insight in clear blue skies, radiant sunsets, walks in the woods and crashing waves. Vision is packed with intense hop character to inspire, while a clean finish leaves room for daydreams. Good grooves on the horizon.

Its s west coaster ipa and it tastes like one, more malty than sweet and taste profile of an IPA now out of limelight. I enjoy a good west coaster every now and then, but there are better ofer when the mood strike. Fine for style, but average.

12 oz. can, canned 07/29/23. "West Coast Style Pale Ale"
A: Good color, a paler sort of yellow body. Good frothy soapy finger's worth of head. Lots of good sticky spotty lacing. Looks very nice.
S: A lighter aroma, but definitely smells fresh & floral. Bit of yeast? Very clean.
T: Super smooth, crisp, & clean. Very light floral hop presence, doughy yeast, pale malt. It could almost stand to be a touch more piney / resiny, especially if we are gonna be labeling this one as "West Coast". Tastes more "No Coast" style to me.
F: Super smooth, crisp, clean, crushable. Lowly 5.5% abv doesn't even phase you; makes this one a great candidate for session drinking. Clean floral finish.
Overall, i'm always a fan of clean floral easy-drinking pales, and this one is no exception, though the hop presence could stand to be a bit more bitter & in your face for the 'West Coast' of it.

A - Pours out pale golden yellow, fat white head, slow to fade, with lots of thick ropey lacing.
S - Pungent hop-tinged citrus fruitiness, a lush dankness that comes across a touch harsh.
T - Flavor is much more subtle, lemon-type citrus, tropical notes of passionfruit, a bit of herbaceousness, malts of soft wheat bread, a touch of bitterness on the close.
M - Moderate carbonation, soft feel, fairly clean finish but with a slight lingering presence after the close.
O - This beer is quite a ride, with a nose that suggests hard West Coast IPA, a flavor and feel much more nuanced, and ultimately a quietly drinkable final product that is pleasant and easy to enjoy.

This is a American pale ale not an IPA first of all. 2 different categories for a reason. This is balanced very well, hoppy enough without going outside its territory. Easy drinker for me for sure. If you judge this beer on the same scale as you would Truth of course you're disappointed.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a slightly hazy light golden with fizzy thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had orange citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tangerine and orange flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.....session ipa....

Decent yet unimpressive west coast style IPA .... Little disappointed that this great brewer could not do better....came as part of a variety "hop pack" .... Not bad, just not special
