12 oz. can, canned 02/23/2022. Ten month old IPA typically isn't my thing, but I saw this lingering at the local beer spot, and decided I'd save this six pack from a fate worse than being drank. "Unfiltered Juicy IPA" per the can, let's see what we've got.
Poured to a Southern Tier Warlock glass.
Pours a cloudy juicy golden-yellow body; certainly unfiltered, there is a tonnnnn of sediment suspended in the glass. Finger of frothy, soapy white head that leaves some ok scattered lacing. Looks decent & appealing.
Aromas of fresh juicy citrus, fruit-infused alcohol bite, touch of fumes. It still smells fairly fresh and inviting, to say the least. This thing was probably super "tropical" and phenolic when it was fresh a few months back. Notes of banana, pineapple, & must.
Flavors have become nicely balanced: juicy, fruity, bitter, piney hop presence, but there is a substantial amount of caramel malt / toffee / leafy tea flavors that have emerged from the beer's age. I'm quite liking the way this thing has mellowed in the can; older IPA's are definitely not always bad, in my humble opinion. Still super tangy and citrusy: tons of orange, clementine, lemon zest.
Super smooth & mellow. Medium-light bodied, bitter & dry finish, but super easy drinking stuff. Borderline quenching if not for the dryness of the finish. Hoppy, piney, & bitter, this will easily please the discerning IPA drinker. Definitely looking forward to trying other beers in this series from Rhinegeist.

I got a 6pck of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bold pineapple presence and subtle guava and papaya accents. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Pours a pale syrupy yellow, clear yet murky. Citrus and tropical notes upon the nose. The profile here is all is sharp and pure citrus, getting lots of pineapple. There is a bit of an indiscernible bite to this, but citrus dominates. Finishes sharp and sweet …candy. Really like this version.

Likely modeled after the national flavor of Rio de Janeiro, the Copacabana influenced rendition of Rhinegeist's Cloud Harvest is basically of tropical fruit and weed.
With a moderately hazy mandarin gold appearance and capping with a pillowy white froth, Cloud Harvest 07 quickly fills the nose with dankness, tropical perfume, citrus, peppery grasses and an overall earthen botanical medley. Sweeter though to taste, the initial palate is greeted with more supple agave, honey and a kiss of caramel.
As the deviously dank ale washes the middle palate, the hops wash away much of the malt sweetness and allows a mild measure of candied hops to remain. A bold taste of papaya, passionfruit, pineapple and bruised oranges lead the way while a backdrop of grapefruit, mango and apricot trail into a a nearly berry-like finish. A late closure of peppery bitterness is sharp and dry, resembling gin and tea on the late palate.
Medium bodied yet trending dry, the juicy ale finishes with dank herb and mulled tropical, equipped with pith, peel and rind. An afterglow of resinous pine, cannabis, chive and geranium are all unmistakable as the character of Mary Jane is front and center.

This is pretty solid. Not as great as some I've had but hits all the right notes. I definitely would buy this again too bad its a rotational series. I also like they actually use the word "cannabis" to describe the hop notes lol
