After dipping their toes into world of all things juice, haze and fruity accented hops for eight iterations now, Rhinegeist just leaps into the deep end of the haze with both feet with a permanent Cloud Harvest, and now with no numbers needed.

Cloud Harvest plops into the glass with a radiant and hazy golden appearance. Heavy translucence and a creamy eggshell froth precedes an equally bold perfume bursting with branch ripe citrus, hight herb and softer creamier scents. Lying gently on the tongue, its malty introductions set a sweeter tone with light pastry, agave and honeysuckle.

As the pillowy cereal grains give a plush texture heading into the middle palate, its the perfect base sweetness to bring out even more fruit identity of tangerine, red grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, papaya, apricot and an extra zing of lime. Though fuller in taste and texture early on, the late taste shows surprising dryness as the smooth and spicy bitterness of tea, verbena, cedar, spruce and hemp suggest a characterfull balance.

Medium bodied overall, the beer finishes on the drier side of malty-dry with enough bitterness and zip to be a highly sessionable and drinkable ale with refreshment, flavor and crispness.

Apparently after regularly altering and numbering their Cloud Harvest Hazy, they have settled on a permanent version .... It's pretty darn good albeit a bit sweet for me ... Still a thumbs up ... Nice job Rhinegeist

I find it really funny they decided to just pick one idea and only can that instead of continuing the series. Especially since the last 3 in the series all taste the same. That said this one is mildly different. None or them are objectively bad just kind of a fruitless existence. I liked these beers more the first time I tried it. Now I don't really care about of the Cloud Harvests.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright tropical fruit presence with fruit peel spice highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Can
L-hazy essentially opaque straw yellow. 1F white head leaves some lacing
S-citrus, biscuit, pine aromas
T-emphasis on fruit flavors, mostly citrus (orange) but some nice blend of faint pineapple too. Less hops than the nose
F-crisp and bright on the tongue. Not sticky at all
O- No missteps on this entrant in the cloud harvest series. a solid example of a hazy ipa with a unified and enjoyable flavor featuring citrus. While the hops are present, they play a successful supporting role.
