12 ounce can, dating is smudged but I can tell the date stamped on the bottom was sometime in 2024. Single can purchase from Total Wine so I figured this likely has some age on it. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear dark gold color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around a little while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like honeydew melon, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya and some bready malt. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some light floral hops. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Think this one is still drinking good enough, would like to try a fresher batch sometime!

These beers pour amber with a slight haze and are topped with an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.

Solid IPA. Nice to have a non hazy IPA. Hazy IPA's are so played.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. The beer poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had papaya and guava hops. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with papaya,
guava and a sublte over ripe kiwi presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

 

 

An ipa with a nice soft bit of unique flavor. A bit of tropical, melon perhaps, but this has an modest undertone of sweetiness/fruitiness that had this drinkable and enjoyable.

 

12 oz. can, canned 08/08/23, FLYIN HIGH. Rhinegeist typically puts out top quality shit so I'm excited.

A: Good golden color, nice fluffy soapy finger point five of good head. Nice spotty lacing. Looks excellent, fresh, & well carb'd.
S: Bright, fresh, floral. Notes of lemongrass, pine, hop cones. Still smells super fresh & stable, even after three months in the can. I can only imagine what it was like when it was fresh fresh.
T: Taste follows, super crisp, bright, bready, biscuity, piney, zesty. Good classical IPA flavors & nicely balanced.
F: Super smooth, crisp, clean, fresh, light, & crushable. I had to double check the abv, because this thing doesn't taste anywhere near 7.0% abv listed on the can.

Overall, super enjoyable, Rhinegeist continues to impress.
