Dank, fruity aroma, featuring citrus orange flavors that complement the dank and piney hop notes. Flavor brings subtle hints of ruby red grapefruit as well.

I am guessing this enigmatically named brew is inspired by the cassowary of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Picked up with my buddy Nate at Belmont Party Supply, as per usual. Nice puffy head and old school nose, with pine resin the forward player, although caramel and biscuit are present.
The taste delivers the promised pine blast with caramel support, but the texture and balance are slightly awry. Resin again with the save in the finish. Alcohol heat is medium. Easier to drink than I originally thought, as I don't quaff as many DIPAs as I used to. Solid drinking double.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle fresh bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with bitter pineapple and tangerine presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

12FLOZ can
Served in tulip glass
This beer pours a brilliant amber hue with golden highlights. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves nice lacing.
Kind of a sweet aroma. I get some apricot. Hints of booze as it warms.
More citrus in the flavor. Booze does show up when it warms a bit.
Thin bodied with a light mouthfeel
Pretty thin for a DIPA.

12oz canned 02/06/24 (nearly 2 months ago) poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp 8.5% ABV. The beer pours bright medium amber with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a half inch cap and leaves a little lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring old school grapefruit and pine. The taste is more of the same. Bittersweet caramel malt with grapefruit, pine and earthy notes all mixed in. Moderate plus bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, very good IIPA to my taste. No sicky sweet fruit salad, letting the bitterness lead.

Pours an orange yellow, foamy head and moderate lacing. Aroma is earthy , floral. Upon the tongue, hops are at the forefront pine and resin gives way to mango and stone fruit. Finishes sharp. Well done

Very clear when pored from can. The head is thick and sticks around. Nice lacing. Nose is very fragrant. Taste definitely highlights the hops. Very well done

Canned on 11-30-22. 12oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours golden with solid clarity; fluffy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing.
The aromas have a nice blend of citrus and tropical fruits. Some fresh bread. Hints of caramel. Some malts.
The flavors basically follow the nose. Lots of grapefruit leading the way along with some pineapple. Some pine sap. More caramel. Some black pepper in the mix. Really nice hop flavors. Solid bitterness. Subtle sweetness. Malts do their thing. Finishes on the drier side. Mild warmth in the finish.
Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy and smooth.
This is a really nice Imperial IPA. Nice hop aromas and great hop flavors. Really nice use of hops. Rhinegeist did a really good job with this one. Well done. I really like it.

This is good and all but tastes essentially pretty much exactly like Truth. Idk. I liked the place at first and would still like to visit but I'm just not about this place at all anymore.
