This is a Dark Ale Blend selected from a variety of vintages aged in bourbon, rye, and brandy barrels. Named after a legendary hybrid creature from Mesopotamian mythology, Mushhushshu stays true to its namesake: a panoply of the rarest and most distinct brews from our barrel cellar fused into a single, majestic beast of a brew accompanied by a delicious blend of maple and peanut butter. Complex and chimerical, Mushhushshu is a limited, seasonal release, available in 500 mL bottles and on draft.

500ml bottle from Tavour. Dark brown pour with a minimal beige head. Aroma is boozy, roasty notes, light peanut butter. Taste is sweet, roasty, boozy and the maple makes it's presence known. A bit on the sweet side, maple and peanut butter seem to be more in conflict than union.
