Crystal clear with thin, white foam. Cold Plunge features hop derived notes of fresh pineapple and juicy melon, backed by a light body with mild bitterness and just enough balancing sweetness. The finish is crisp, dry, and refreshing, allowing the hops to linger pleasantly.

Cold to make things refreshing, but strong for added boozy effects, I'm not sure how drinkable that an imperial IPA should be but Rhinegeist is making a pretty good case for it.
Brightly colored with chrome and gold, Cold Plunge floats a cottony white froth and a fruity, spicy, perfumy nose chocked with tropical, citrus and herb. A thinly veiled malt sweetness splashes the tongue with suggestions of wafer, grain and mild toast. Hops build up quickly on the middle palate with the bold suggestions of dried pineapple, lemon, orange peel, white grapefruit, lime and kiwi. Developing a quick bitterness, the late taste trends dry with peppery resins, lemon pepper, grassy herbs, green tea and verbena.
Medium bodied and much lighter than imperial ale should be, this highly drinkable IPA finishes briskly bitter, lightly astringent and laced with a long aftertaste of botanical hops.
