Dark black with tan foam and some haze. Notes of cocoa nib, espresso, red fruit, and Twizzlers lead the flavor, backed by mild sweetness and balancing bitterness.

Any brewer can barrel a beer, but do they barrel it thrice? At Rhinegeist's disposal are three distinct barrels of bourbon, brandy and syrah for extended age and blending to make 2024 the inkiest year yet.
Pouring the promised and ominous black, a sheet of tan froth sits atop the rim, Triple Oaked Ink reels in the nose with barrel nuances of caramel, vanilla, dark fruit, and vinous spice that resides ahead of the expected char, coffee and cocoa. As its sweetness gravitates onto the tongue, a sweeter tone of brown sugar, dark chocolate and burnt caramel create a savory sweetness that all precedes the nuanced espresso roast, oak char, roasting walnut and soilish roast. Barrel flavors of coconut and carmel, red wine and currant, plum and nuttiness all swirl into a uniquely drinkable big bodied stout.
Full, rounded and warming, Ink sees new light in the depth of these barrels for a surprisingly dry, palatable and savory roast.
