I got a 6pck of cans from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy orangish with no head and no lace. The scent had tart fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base with ripe and subtle tart fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Cloudy, golden in color with a thick white frothy head. Slight pine on the nose and taste. Decent time, but a malt overtone on the taste. Moderate bitter across the palate.

Hypnotizing the senses ever since hazy ale started favoring fruitiness and juiciness over that of dryness and bitterness, Rhinegeist hopes that the senses will steer us all in the direction of the hypnomoth.
And the beer of that namesake starts with a standard foggy honey gold and a frothy white crown before drawing the senses with hoppy aromatics of citrus, herb, tropical fruit and soft woods. Its first sip brings a mild cereal sweetness with hints of agave, honey and shortcake ahead of the cornucopia of hops. Lemony to start, the additional flavors of white grape, passionfruit, kiwi and honeydew bring a sharp but juicy fruit cocktail before trending bitter with balsa, verbena, sassafras, cedar and spruce.
A linger of bitter green tea brings lasting memories of a session of malty dryness and bitter sweetness for a session that's off-haze, balanced in true imperial IPA form, but certainly juicy in its fruitiness.
