I found this beer in the local supermarket in northern Italy. The carton and label stress that Beck's Next is a 'mild' and 'fresh' beer, and is clearly aimed to attract a younger market (late teens and early to mid 20's). I'm not sure where they're targeting this beer, so far I've only seen this beer in Italy.
The beer itself is a golden hued and completely clear liquid. It's a bit darker in complexion than I expected, although the head is remarkably short-lived (most of the experience the head was simply non-existent). The aroma is faint, with some floral and slightly musty hop flavors. The hops are present over a distracting vegetable and cooked cereal smell. The taste is relatively dry and just slightly bitter. Not much hop flavor or malt in the beer, just a bit of grass and grain. Medium in body, wiht a little more heft than I expected (given the marketing). This is a euro brew with nothing particularly unique or interesting about it. Essentially forgettable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
