355ml bottle. Yet another beer marketing company dumb (or just cheap) enough to use Minhas as their contract brewer.
This beer pours a clear medium golden yellow colour, with one finger of fizzy, loosely foamy, dirty white head, which leaves some random paint splatter lace around the glass as it quickly abates.
It smells of corn and rice mash, overripe apple, a bit of acetone, and very faint earthy, musty hops. The taste is more of the same - fermented corn, rice pudding, tame rubbing alchol, and mildly skunky, weedy hops.
The bubbles are a bit peppy at first, but die out rather quickly, the body a bit wanting in its medium weight, in a sort of pithily evil manner, and smooth by the same token. It finishes sweet, the corn and rice still up on their game.
A straight up clone of most of Minhas' other myriad lager offerings, i.e. Mountain Crest, et al. I don't know who these jokers are, but 'their' beer is quite unpleasant, even if they've got the marketing down to a well-trodden science.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
