Pours a pale, clearish golden, light fuzz of translucency. Head is just a rim, large bubbles, no lace. Meh.
Smells a little skunky. Honey, fresh laundry, spent grain. Yeah, not much else; sweet and a bit unnuanced.
Taste is grainy, skunky fruit, yeast, bread, stale crumpets, yeah quite meh. Nothing fresh in here, feels like old socks.
Decent mouthfeel, however. A bit drying, but otherwise smooth and full..
Not really sure of the point of this beer, it's like an uninteresting version of PP's pale ale.

Bottle shared with me by @LaitueGonflable. "FIRE BREWED". The second of their beers I tasted after their Pale Ale.
Pours a dirty yellow colour with a slight haze to it. Head forms frothily initially, but ends up being just a fuzzy ring of white around the edges. Very light body, but pleasant enough.
Skunky and unpleasant initially whiff on the aroma. Plenty of bread yeast and a funk like day-old Carlton Draught. But of rustic, earthy woodiness. Hops do make their presence felt after a little while, with a slight undertone of mandarin. But for the most part, it's rather unpleasant.
Taste is yeasty and cloying. Big earthy undergrowth organic and off bread. More yeast, Pride of Ringwood and dusty cloy. It's both bloated and fatty and yet surprisingly weak and thin. Nasty stuff.
It really, really doesn't do anything for me, this brew. I was really quite disappointed in it. After the initial shock at least it just turns into bland and quaffable, but it's generic in the extreme and really quite far from being interesting.
