Quite murky and similar to golden honey. The head is dirty blonde and never fully develops as it leaves spots of lace on a Crafty Ales tulip glass.
The aroma is a strange mix of mango and dirty cat. There is some honey and lots of dusty straw in the background.
Bitterness is mild and balanced against sweetness. Mango and grapefruit are a bit muddy with caramel filling in the middle. This beer has a slightly astringent finish that starts strong and slowly fades.
The full body has a soft cashmere texture. Carbonation is soft against higher alcohol than expected. The finish is slightly drying.
This is a fine beer. However, from the growler, it has lost much of the luster I remember from drinking it fresh on tap at the brewery. Still, it will serve well while watching a ball game on a mid-Summer day.

A slightly cloudy all-Citra IPA. This has a nice crisp malt backbone and despite being only 5.5% abv doesn't feel at all like a session IPA. The Citra hops give a clean citrus flavor. Refreshing and delicious.
