Pours Hazy gold, thicc head that stays for a while
Smell limey with hint of dried lime and some faint hint of mazcal
Tastes super tart but finishes with malty sweetness
Light bodied but somehow smooth carbonation
Pretty awesome stuff

Cloudy gold-tan color. Poured a short head that quickly dropped down to a patchy skiff. Too cloudy to see the carbonation level. Left strings and dots of lace on the side of the glass.
Sour funk and lime smell dominates. There is a light wood scent, like fresh cut oak lumber. There is something odd that smells "fuzzy"; it could just be part of the oak. Swirling the glass kicks up a stronger "fuzzy" smell; now it smells a lot more like oak sawdust. The lime is boosted a bit.
Quite tart, but then it starts to taste sweet (but not sugary) at the same time. Strong lime. There is a very faint flavor that could be mezcal or tequila. The "fuzzy" smell shows up as a "fuzzy" flavor; I wish I could describe this better. Mild, light roasted malt. The aftertaste is mostly lime, a bit stronger with the mezcal, and a hint of bitters.
Light tongue tingling as it turns into medium sized bubbles. Feels "fuzzy", but at least this time it makes sense. Slight to moderate astringency. My teeth feel like they have been cleaned off.
I feel like I am drinking this at the wrong time of the year. This should be a summer sipper. This would be really refreshing outside. I don't have a lot of experience with Gose, but this seems to fit into the description of the style. I hope it is still available in a few months.
