Hello fellow beer drinkers,
Last month I ventured into the exciting world of Home Brew. Something I have always talked about but never really thought possible in Hong Kong. I watched all the YouTube videos and it looked quite complicated. I am a complete novice when it comes to brewing but my friend told me about The Beer Necessities and I finally pulled the trigger. I have finally brewed my very own beer…from a kit. I always had this idea that it would take up a ton of space and I would have to buy all this heavy, expensive equipment. I was really impressed with everything, especially how easy it was. I got the starter kit with everything I needed and a Coopers Lager all delivered for about $1000. I even called the company to ask them some questions and make sure I had everything I needed. As I said, it was my first try so I figured I had better check. They were really nice and helpful. The delivery was really fast and I had a great weekend project. It really wasn’t that hard. I think I will try some of the more complicated intermediate beers for my next attempt. I decided to get the 24oz bottles, but they also have a brew keg. Now I can just throw a few in the fridge when friends come over.
I have to recommend this to anyone like me who has always had the thought of home brewing but never found the moment. It was truly a wonderful experience.
