I had a 330ml bottle.
Appearance: nice dark Amber red colour. Good 1cm+ cream off-white head that stayed for a while then left some good rim lacing as the temperature rose.
Aroma: some initial citrus smell evident that gave way to a honey aroma. As beer warms I am getting some of the toasty malts.
Flavour: very nice caramel sweetness through out and then excellent hoppy bitter finish. I enjoyed the balance. Mouthfeel is creamy on the swirl and carbonation is medium level. Alcohol heat is present as this rates at 6% making it a beer I'd only go for one or two of at the most at a time unless in for a long slow session.
Overall: a very nice Amber ale. Good hops aroma and bitterness balance and enjoyable malty caramel flavours. Very much worth a try.

Australan Homebrewer of the Year's beer brewed for GABS in Melbourne, May 2014. Brewed at Birbeck's Brewery.
Pours an amber colour, clear with nice cream-coloured head. Doesn't stick around but leaves some lovely thick lacing behind. Looks great.
Smells quite sweet upfront; decent malt with just a touch of toasty grain. Touch of cocoa with some oak character, cinnamon and nutmeg. American hops balancing on the back. Nice sweet blend with hops. Pleasant.
Taste is malty upfront, slight nutty edge with caramel. Again develops a sweet-spice note on the mid-palate, touch of cinnamon before hops come through towards the back. Slight citrus edge for an acceptable hoppy bitterness, Nice malt/hops balance, pretty nice brew.
Body is disappointingly thin, just feels like it has no substance to it. Carbonation fizzes through a little.
Decent amber ale. Some hops, nicely balanced, just a bit thin.
