I had a 330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: pours as a dark toffee colour with reddish tinge. Looks good. Nice light brown 1cm head that dissipated after a decent while and leaves good rim and consistent lacing.
Aroma: nice roasted malts and coffee aromas. Not detecting any real hop aroma present.
Flavour: toasty malty flavours follow through with coffee up front and very good bitterness and quite earthy on the finish. It is a little thin in terms of mouth feel and perhaps carbonation a little more than I would anticipate for the style.
Overall: a nice version of a dark English porter to me with an emphasis on coffee overtones from the roasted malts.
