Pale hazy yellowish pour. Taste was what you'd expect from a hefeweizen to me, and was clovey and spiced. I thought it was boring, and average, and not different from every other standard Hefeweizen I've had. Kind of blah but fits the style for someone looking for a simple example of one..

Sampler at the brewpub. A murky yellow body with a thin white head. Tons of banana in both the aroma and the taste. This is a very fruity beer, and I think the sweetness would not be as pleasant over a whole pint. A very decent brew though. More of a hefe, I think. Its like a paler clone of the denisons wheat beer, which tops that category.

07/22/05- On tap at the San Francisco Brewing Company.
Presentation- From the tap into a standard pint glass.
Appearance- Cloudy golden-orange pour with a slight head and fair lacing.
Smell- Mucho citrus scent as well as a nice wheat backing.
Taste- Lemon zest flavor with maybe a touch of corriander. Heavy yeast taste as well.
Mouthfeel- Mouthcoating, and average carbonation.
Drinkability- Pretty fair example of a well done american wheat. Tasty and refreshing.
