A: Poured black with a nice whispy but short lived tannish cap with decent head retention. A few bubbles sits atop and slowly fade away and spotty lacing is observed
S: Pretty simple and straightforward; roasted malt, some chocolate and light coffee
T: Initial taste is a blend of roastiness, a bit of char with some dark chocolates. A little bit of coffee in the background. The finish is dry, roasted malts with an edge of cocoa
M: Well carbonated, good-medium body but at times I thought it was a measure thin but then I have to remind myself that this is a Single American Stout not a RIS.
O: A simple stout which fires on all cylinders. Very drinkable.
