From the out of date bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a huge overabundant head - not sure if I shook it, although I don't think so. The head settles down and slowly diminishes in a very thick way. Pine and some citrus in the nose. The mouth gets some hops to cover the malt. Yum!

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at Narrows Brewing Company on July 31, 2018. Imagine yourself walking in the woods on a bright, sunny day. If that experience can be tasted, the hops in this IPA are its delivery mechanism. We brew the beer with some other stuff too, but it only exists to lift the hops to the forefront.

22 oz bottle. No bottling info
Pours a solidly cloudy dirty golden body with a white head. I was slightly put off by how solidly hazy the body was, but there was great retention and good lacing. I wrestled with rating the look of this beer... could have been higher, could have been lower...
A nice prominent smell overall. Very citrus forward with lots of grapefruit. I'm picking up a bit of pine too.
Taste is mainly red grapefruit. Nice bitterness and a small amount of malt to give it a nice balance. Very drinkable !
Even and slightly crisp with a good level of carbonation
I was impressed by this beer and will have it again

22 oz. bottle:
Pours slightly hazed golden amber. A lasting white head leaves broken rings of lacing.
The smell is of citrus, pine, slight grass.
The taste is of citrus (especially grapefruit, some lemon) with piney/floral spicing. Grainy sweet backbone. Bitter, slightly medicinal finish. Alcohol well-integrated (giving just a hint of pepper, but not hot).
Smooth.
A good example of a classic American IPA.

Handsome amber brew with plenty of foam in the Dupont chalice. This is not as intensely bitter as typical craft IPAs. But it's also quite flavorful without being a fruit bomb. Aroma of lime peel and a Salty dog.
Some citrus taste with the sweetness and bitter tang of a good grapefruit. This is extremely drinkable, I'd even call it mellow, but plenty hoppy. It's just so seriously grapefruit juice you have to be in the mood for that. Bitter aftertaste but makes for a very enjoyable edge.
