The brewer of this beer is **"donating a portion" of it's sale to a foundation that honors the Ranger 2nd battalion. My nephew is a fallen army Ranger. That fact may have influenced this review... Hoo Rah !
22 oz bottle. No bottling info
Pours a cloudy pale orange body with a smallish white head. Little retention, decent lacing.
Smell is a somewhat prominent citrus as I pour it. This leads to some biscuit malt with little bit of a funky yeast.
Taste follows. Nice bitterness and a nice balance with the malt
Thin and somewhat prickly feel
Overall a solid Good... but not great. This one was all over the map for me.
