Completely opaque, as seems to be all the rage these days. Murky orange/amber, reminiscent of the homemade cider that got made at the farmhouse. Little white head of small soapy bubbles.
Nose is the unassuming character of rice with maybe a touch of grassy hops. Not much depth here, nor breadth.
At the onset we get a muted pine and maybe some meaty hops. I do feel like I can taste the rice, but that could just be my mind making shit up.
Nice medium+ body and subtle rush of carbonation that recedes just as silently. Finish plays out cloyingly bitter though. As the temperature warms, it becomes more enjoyable, but even still it is that type of bitter that's not big and bold or punishingly enjoyable, but just insidiously sharp.
