Pint can poured in to a nonic glass, No can dating.
Look- Hazy darker golden amber color. modest off-white head with great retention and solid lacing. light carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya and mango), citrus (pithy orange, grapefruit and lemon), caramel malt, white pepper, faint pine and other floral/spicy hop notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, tropical fruit, citrus, faint melon, sweet malt, pine and pepper back end. Fairly well balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied and somewhat aggressively bitter, slight alcohol warmth comes off. Light carbonation on the tongue.
O- A nice DIPA if youre in to the minerally/white pepper sorts.

16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a solidly murky dark yellow/light orange color with about an inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma was mostly frooty hops, but there was some weed and citrus hops as well. No malt aspect.
Fairly similar on the tongue, but there was a sharpness/metallic bite at the back that was unpleasant.
The body was average, and had a fairly dry finish.
That odd sharpness on the finish made the beer a bit of a chore to drink.
Overall, a fairly average example of the style, with one glaring flaw. Worth a shot if you're a fan of the style.
