A: Poured a lighter shade of orange, slightly hazed, with a nice white cap, some decent head retention leaves some white bubbles, lacing even after a few sips
S: Citrus all the way with some pine needles as well. The nose leads me to believe this beer will have an ample amount of bitterness. Nothing big and overpowering on the nose just simple and clean.
T: Initial citrus as I expected. A little dose of pine and a nice moderate bitterness is ushered in, this beer is dry, clean and dry... citrus tend to dominate the flavor profile as does that moderate bitterness. Perhaps some biscuity malt notes, a light booze sting reminds me it is 8%ABV but it is well widden on the mouthfeel. The finish has a long subtle bitterness that I really like.
M: Well carbonated, loads of flavor on the palate. Effervescent, crisp and strikingly grand. This is my favorite part of this beer indeed.
O: If you want a big, oily PNW hop bomb...this ain't it! If you want a dry, crisp, refreshing IPA then here ya go!
