Enjoyed at home from a 12oz can into a chilled pint with molinari aged salami, water crackers, manchego, black truffle gouda, cornichons, mustard, grilled onions, olive tapenade, apples, pears, grapes, friends and cards against humanity.
L: Classic nice brown color, not too deep, good foam
S: Slightly sweet malty grain with a hint of caramel
T: Refreshing light flavor, malty, hint of sweet, not an overly hop presence, easy to drink with a slight bitter bite at the finish
F: Not as heavy as expected, very crushable especially with a combination of salty and sweet snacks!
O: I really enjoyed this as it pairs well with a multitude of flavors and will probably make this one of my regular fridge treasures!

Poured from 16oz can into Seidel mug. No canning or freshness date.
L: Dark brown with ruby edges. Nice finger width khaki head has good retention.
S: Toasted grains and caramel, not much else.
T: Again toasted grains, almost perfect toasted bread flavor with a touch of caramel.
F: Medium body, moderate carbonation levels, semi-dry finish.
O: This is a really tasty beer and the closeness to toasted bread is uncanny and unique. I like it.

On tap at Quad Ale House on 11/10/16.
A standard but, solid English brown ale with cocoa and coffee notes. Hop presence is minimal.

Dark brown color and very nice pile of suds in the New Belgium snifter. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine on Adams Ave. Just slightly prickly on the tongue. I wouldn't write home about the aroma, but there's a little roasted grain in the nose.
A pleasant and slightly sweet brew. Just a touch of malt and some grainy flavor. Maybe a hint of the buttery flavor these Brown ales have sometime. Really not bad for the moderate alcohol content, but if it was lower still I'd be more impressed. Slightly bitter at the finsh. Just faintly sourish with something like burnt grain.

Poured a medium dark brown with a light beige head.
Lightly toasted caramel biscuit on the nose. Taste follows with a slightly roasty dry finish.
Medium mouthfeel. Not overly carbonated.
Not the most full flavored brown but still tasty nonetheless.
