Poured from 16oz can into Spiegelau IPA glass. No canning or freshness date.
L: Honey gold that is slightly hazy. Two finger off-white head has decent retention.
S: Citrus and pine, pale biscuity malts, some floral notes as well.
T: Lighter end of the spectrum in flavor. Some mild citrus at the beginning with faint pine and then some biscuity malt.
F: Light, crisp and dry.
O: Almost a Session IPA and decently tasty.

From the 16oz can – 10/16/15
A very pedestrian brew
Brassy golden body with some well-defined clarity and a wide finger worth of khaki tan suds that retains well and gives off some sticky lace. Smells of bready pale malts with some floral hops, dried pine needle, and a little mild citrus fruits. Tastes much the same with some watered down hops here. Maybe this is an older can. Bready pale malts are dominant to lesser notes of stale pine and citrus rind. Nothing to expressive or impressive for all that matter. A bit wet in the finish which weighs the body down some. Session light at 5% and drinkable enough but lacks any type of pizazz or imagination really.
If this is the Benchmark IPA well then that mark is rather low.

Very light IPA at 5.1 but still a pretty big mouth full , hop aroma was great. Very good and perfect for a nice sunny day. Gotta work another trade to grab more of these.

Very light, bordering the session style of IPA. Checking in at 5.1% just a shade over most sessions, this is very light IPA. Still refreshing on a hot day.
