473ml can - deemed part of a 'Project Series', and 'Story Worthy'. So vague that I can only focus on the name, which is a tongue in cheek admonition that no longer reflects my lifestyle, as such.

This beer pours a clear, bright medium copper amber colour, with four pudgy fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly beige head, which leaves some decent flock of seagulls pattern lace around the glass as it rather slowly abates.

It smells of grainy and biscuity cereal malt, muddled domestic citrus rind, faint tropical fruity notes, a damp minerality, and some leafy, weedy, and dank piney hoppiness. The taste is gritty and grainy caramel malt, orange and red grapefruit citrus peel, some mixed melon exotic fruitiness, wet stones, and more earthy, musky, and resinous piney hop bitters.

The carbonation is average in its palate-lifting and separating frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and mostly smooth, but for a touch of hop-borne acridity maybe not making nice with the neighbourhood watch here. It finishes off-dry, the frooty and bitter esters still dancing in the dark.

Overall - this is indeed a pleasant and engaging version of the style, with a bit of Old School throwback there for good measure. The 8.8% (Calgary? Two eights? Amirite?) booze quotient is ably obfuscated, leaving us with a quality sipper, but sadly sans un arbre à jeter.
