With a straight black color, it has a subtle roasted coffee aroma and a burst of roasty malt with a balance of sweetness. While it is sparsely astringent, it has a very nice mouthfeel and aftertaste which dissipates nicely. It’s basically like having a dark roasted ice coffee! This brewery's Wee Heavy ["Beam Me Up"] and the Astral Scottish Extra is another good, thick and malty option as well.

The best milk stout in San Diego area. Rich and full-flavored.
