May 21st, 2015 - Referencing the beloved Portal game is "The Cake is a Lie", a coffee cream ale with lactose ale. No cake. Sadly. The aroma is full of notes of flan and honey and latte, and smells like what I always imagined the honeyed cakes from Redwall small like. The flavor is deep and sweet, again filled with flan and custard, and Japanese "purin". The body is thinner but it matches the flavor, as a delicate sort of dessert beer.
