Despite the fact that Intergalactic closed its doors months upon months ago, 2 Kids still occasionally allows them to host some events at their brewery. One such event is the annual Star Wars themed "May the 4th Be With You" event, which I attended this past weekend. Many of the Intergalactic mainstays were offered and all were available in crowlers as well. Peanut Brittle Cake Is A Lie was one of the offerings and I was stoked to have it again after so long.
Creamy with roasted coffee notes and a pleasant underlying peanut-y earthiness combine to make this a very good beer. Not too sweet, not too bitter and at 7% it hits you just right. Needless to say, there is a crowler of this sitting in my fridge as I type this.
