A dark creamy stout that is as smooth as sea glass. Crafted to leave behind the unspoken rule that a stout should taste like a triple shot of espresso. This easy drinking creamy stout is great to warm you up after a long day of ice fishing or cool you down after a long day on the beach.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a dark
brownish black with a modest head of off white foam that settles to a
thin ring and light dusty layer. Nose of dark cocoa, dark coffee, and light vanilla
with notes of char. Flavors follow with dark cocoa, dark coffee, faint cream, subtle
vanilla, char, and an herbal / grassy hop note on the middle and rear of the taste.
Decent mouth feel; medium full body, medium light carbonation, and a lingering
char finish.
Overall, a solid little brew that would be a decent session.
Cheers

12 ounce can, no dating on it that I noticed. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, butterscotch, coffee, and a bit of vanilla and rum. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma. Label says it was brewed with Hylander Grogg coffee and I can see that here. All the flavors seem to mesh well, with no one flavor overpowering the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good stout, certainly worth a try. I liked it!
