Deep black color with a thin thick caramel head with short retention.
Light aroma of coffee, some English hops and caramel.
Predominant flavor of coffee with notes of English earthy and tangy citrus hops, dark fruits (some jabuticaba – Brazilian dark fruit), caramels, iced tea, spices and a bit of cocoa. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 6.5% is well hidden.
Beer with good execution and high drinkability. It has a relatively lower malt complexity but choice of hops matched well the recipe. Very pleasant, not complex.
