Tried this on-tap last night and was completely underwhelmed. Pours copper to auburn in color without any head retention to speak of. Shouldn't a porter be brown to black?
It says "Stove Pipe Smoked Porter", so silly me I was expecting to get some smoked flavors here. Nothing.
In fact, it's main flavor profile seemed to be comprised of something medicinal, or more like shampoo or some hygiene product that accidentally gets in your mouth in the shower. Possibly some sugars present too? The beer seemed sweeter than I expected it to be, and the rest of the taste was extremely far off. Nothing smoked at all.

A very solid porter. Smoke is apparent but not overwhelming. What I enjoyed the most was the mouth feel. Very pleasant on a chilly fall evening. Bought it at the brewery which always seems to make everything seem better.

Pours with a HUGE rocky tan head on a pitch black brew. Smells of very dark roasted grains, smoke, and little else. Taste is chalky smoke up front and heavily roasted grains on the back and sides with a slight bitterness interplaying between it all, a dash of sweetness is there in the background as well, yet not overpowering. Interesting mouthfeel that is rather light but then coating at the same time. Not the best porter I have had, but solid in and of itself, especially for being a smoked beer that is not overly smoked.
