Poured from the tap into a pint glass. Pale yellow and not very dark. Nice foam top that dissipated slowly. Great nose with pine, citrus and grapefruit. The taste is impressive. It has great balance and at the same time has a big, resiny finish. I confess that I was surprised at how much I liked it. I expected it to be good because I've had other brews from Homestead but this one was better than I expected. I ended up taking a growler of it home and will definitely order it again if I have the chance.
