I am embarrassed to say how old this sample is. Not the best, yet the ale stands up nicely.
It pours an average slightly dirty yellow with nice head. The aroma seems to have partially passed in the months since its birth. The taste is still there, though, with loads of bittering still left in the tank. It stis on the palate nice and thick too. I would guess this will turn bad soon but this can is still tasty.
Recommended. How could you go wrong? I assume it isn't very expensive.

Pours a clear pale yellow, decent head and heavy lacing. There is a sweet aroma that seems more driven by the malts, no citrus; just sugar and wort. This definitely reads as more of an old school IPA. The malts are still in play here. Generally not what I look for, but the hops hold there own to a degree. Decent bite to this with a chewy malt backbone. Sharpens and washes to alcohol in the finish. No one really does these anymore. Not my favorite, but we’ll done for the style. Would have loved this a decade ago.

I got a six pack of this from the beer store around the corner. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel. The taste was slightly bitter through the drink but still drinkable. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid ipa.
