Beautiful look - dark mahogany with hints of orange - settles on the hazy side. Thin but firm white/slightly dark head which coats the glass. Smell is subtle yet malty, carmel, and floral notes of honey (as opposed to sweet). Taste is a nice balance of carmel/roasted/chewy malts with an oats start and a honey finish. Feel is thin but also chewy in the front. Good balance - not bitter, hoppy, or sweet (as American reds tend to be).
