From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid porter (Arctic as it is called on the can) pours
a dark brownish black with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin
dusty layer, and sports some faint lacing. Nose of dark roasted malts, char, cocoa, and
light vanilla dashed with coffee. Flavors follow the nose but exceed with a nice presentation of
dark cocoa, medium heavy char, deep roast, dark coffee, herbal bittering hops on the rear,
smoke, and touches of tobacco. Mouth feel is medium leaning towards medium full, smooth,
light carbonation, and a nice bitter malt and char finish.

Overall, not a Baltic, but almost with a lot of character.

A solid brew from a great little brewery!
