Beautiful spicy, pumpkin smell. Nice pumpkin taste, not overdone or sweet. Slight grittiness as if from spices (cinnamon, nutmeg?). Slight burn from the Habanero peppers in the aftertaste.
Better than many seasonal pumpkin beers.

Poured into a shaker this has a dark brown nearing black colour, with some whispy film and lace.
S - dominated by nutmeg and tobacco notes, lemony yeast, some slight pumpkin character, smoky and bit peppery.
T - some spices, really dominate, chili, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, really grating actually, leaves a lasting peppery allspice dry finish. Some smoky pumpkin, chewy malts, very spicey. With a long dry finish.
M - moderate body, medium carbonation, hot chili/peppery spice to it, fair bit of heat on it. And then dries out on the finish.
Not really my thing. The spiciness of this completely overpowers any other aspects, it also has a rawness, slight lemony wort character. I suppose if looking for an aggressively spiced pumpkin ale (hard to pick up much pumpkin but there are some subtle notes) then this might work for you. Despite that it did have an overall pleasing nature, and was an unique experience, fair bit of smoky chili heat come across and while this was interesting, I'll look for something else not as overpoweringly spiced next time.
