650ml bottle into glencairn-like whisky glass. purchased from the brewery sep 18 2015. consumed sep 26 2015
a: a nice glowing light orange or golden yellow with slightly off-white head
s: light belgian yeast (clove, overripe banana) with nice tropical fruit notes, as advertised. passionfruit, guava, underripe banana. great aroma
t: a nice lemony tartness in the front, followed by clove and bready malt. the fruit notes are nowhere to be found -- there are merely pinches of passionfruit and guava flavours. subdued hop bitterness at the end
m: light-bodied, a bit close to watery. can't expect much from a 4.7% abv beer though. medium-minus carbonation
o: the nose was super promising, but the flavour didn't deliver. maybe i'm expecting too much. still a decent sessionable beer

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
