Fittingly enough, The Dominatrix has the complexion of black leather. It's unwaveringly opaque and has a slightly worn tone. Its head is also quite dark, a hazelnut tint in place of the usual white. I like 'em dark and delicious and this one looks to be just my type.
The aroma has both the 'outdoors-y' freshness of spruce as well as the stimulating smell of freshly brewed coffee - it's one part air freshener and one part village roaster. These particular hops and malts are wonderfully aromatic and this recipe offers both in good supply.
The palate offers a complimentary contrast of piny, weedy, herbal notes and gooey, chocolatey fudge flavours. It's like a blend of Darjeeling and peppermint teas as well as a perfectly pulled shot of espresso. The aftertaste has a hint of cream and lingering leafy, sometimes chamomile-like floral notes.
The difference between this and a slice of black forest cake is the lack of sugar; despite dessert-y flavours this won't satisfy your sweet tooth. When I say coffee I mean black. When I say chocolate I mean extra-dark. The only thing that lightens this up is a trace of citrus zest.
The Dominatrix provides no pain, only pleasure via a tasty and balanced combination of resinous bitterness and gooey chocolate malt. The rich hoppy, roasty flavours can satisfy you in ways that run-of-the-mill beers won't. It's sure to leave you a happy customer.

Got on a trade! Served at 4deg C in a draught glass.
A- Opens well and pours a tiny head that is gone in seconds. VERY dark, almost black color.
S- WOW this has been hopped to the max! Incredible amounts of hops here.
T- Big shot in the mouth with Bitter in a weird way. Not expected in the least. Burnt flavor. Smokiness hits you hard. Touch sour.
M- Dry and tarty.
O- Ok until you drink it. It's a good beer but not for me. LOL does get better as the level in the bottle lowers!!
Food Pairing
This interesting beer went well with...... Fajitas! Extra peppers for me!
Enjoy
