Only from the brewery. Served at 8 deg C in a tulip. Pinot Noir BA stout
A- Waxed top and opened well pouring a tiny head that films out within a minute which is typical of high ABV BA stouts. Completely black colour. If you don't want to see an eclipse and still look at the sun use this beer. You won't see the flash from a nuclear bomb either it's that dark.
S- Malt and that pinot barrel. Super Pinot Noir base that doesn't overpower like a bourbon barrel. Don't get me wrong I LOVE bourbon barrel aged but there are other barrels out there.
T- Fantastic blend. .The Pinot Noir barrel is there in spades but not overpowering. Just mellow and forefront. This brew is just blended like a bourbon county complexity. Just wait until you have that first sip. It will just make you say WOW. Not a lick of heat
M- Creamy and multi leveled.
O- Fantastic pure and simple. Nothing overpowers the brew. It is complex, well aged and over the top in all respects. If you see it, get it.
Food Pairing
Typically a BA brew is not easy to pair due to the overpowering nature but not this one. This fantastic brew paired very well with..... Beef short rib seared and slow cooked in a tomato sauce which I will give to anyone who messages me as I want to keep it off the net and special to me and those who want to try it
