Got as a gift! Served at 12deg C in a tulip
A- Opens with a mighty POP! Pours a 2" high light brown head that lasts forever. The bottle will continue to foam so keep an eye on it
S- Bourbon and malt
T- Bourbon hits you off the hop. Very nice base on the barley wine end. Nice malt and lots of hops. The balance of the brew is great. Nothing too harsh and nothing overpowering.
M- Dry and tart. Very dry
O- Very nice blend. The bourbon shines through and accentuates this brew. Will buy again if I ever see it
Food Pairing
Bourbon barrel aged brews are difficult to pair and this one was no different. This nice brew went well with........ Spicy tuna roll sushi.
