New England style Double IPA. Mango and pineapple fruit on the nose. A full-bodied mouthfeel with up front bitterness, bold tropical fruit flavours and a dry resiny finish.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, red apple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is a delicious NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Nice soft feel. A bit over carbonated, but not an issue. Really nice juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Might be Centennial, Simcoe, Citra hops. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Definitely did not taste fresh, but held up really well.
